About us

Helping Hands 123 is a small private Housekeeping/Domestic Cleaning business established since 2012. We mainly work with private professional clients across London between zones 1 & 2.

We are looking to recruit 2 professional cleaners to help us continue to provide a high quality cleaning service to our ever growing client list. Our role is to clean, maintain & keep our clients homes tidy. We understand our clients can lack the time for domestic duties due to work or family commitments, that’s why we offer a helping hand!

About the role

Duties are not limited to, but can include the following:

  • Dusting & polishing furniture, fixtures & fittings
  • Cleaning and sanitising toilet, showers/bathtubs, counter tops & sinks
  • Maintaining a clean and sanitary kitchen area
  • Changing linen and making up beds
  • Washing windows
  • Sweeping/vacuuming, polishing and mopping hard floors
  • Sorting, washing, loading & unloading laundry
  • Ironing
  • Replenishing toiletries & linen in clients bathrooms
  • Cleaning mirrors & other glass surfaces
  • Disposing of household waste/rubbish
  • Washing curtains/blinds
  • General tidying around the clients house/office
  • Managing cleaning supply stock & replenish when necessary
  • Reporting any repairs or replacements to the client

There is also an element of seasonal or one off cleaning assignments such as:

  • Spring clean
  • Pre/End or tenancy
  • Post building/maintenance/decorating work

This job involves travelling from home to home, so you must have either access to a vehicle or, depending upon your area, the ability and willingness to use public transport in zones 1-2 (as appropriate).

About you

Our ideal candidate will:

  • Have the knowledge and/or experience in Housekeeping or Domestic cleaning
  • Be able to handle heavy equipment (e.g. vacuum)
  • Have a basic knowledge of cleaning chemicals and supplies
  • Have great customer care skills
  • Have a flexible approach to working hours
  • Be a good communicator
  • Be able to work unsupervised
  • Have the knowledge and understanding of written and spoken English

Shortlisted candidates will be invited to an interview. Subject to a satisfactory DBS check and 2 references, candidates will be offered a work trial.
