Green & Fortune has a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Junior Sous Chef / Senior Chef De Partie to join our new site at Central Hall Westminster, Storey's Gate, London, SW1H 9NH


Green & Fortune is a multi-faceted hospitality business delivering both retail and events. It was launched in October 2008 specifically for the Kings Place project by John Nugent & Peter Millican.

We are very excited to have been awarded the contract as exclusive operator of all hospitality and retail catering services at Central Hall Westminster, central London’s largest conference venue, with its Great Hall accommodating over 2,000 guests.

The agreement commences on 1st March 2020 and includes catering for all corporate events in the venue’s 25 spaces, its concert programme and the 150 seat café within the building as well as a street café opposite Westminster Abbey and the Houses of Parliament.

Everyone at Green & Fortune has real passion for what we do. We are now looking for flexible professionals to assist our team with the day to day meetings and events, from preparation for event and set up of rooms, to delivery of the event on the day, primarily based in Central Hall Westminster but with opportunities to cater for events across all our business.

Solid communication skills and a strong command of the English language is a must.


Below is a list of core responsibilities for this role specifically:

As Junior Sous Chef, you will be working closely with the Chef Director and Head Chef to ensure the smooth running of the kitchen as well as be involved in the training and development of the junior chefs in the brigade.

Only the freshest, carefully sourced, seasonal produce will used. You must have proven work experience currently cooking at this level in a high-volume environment and an understanding of British cuisine.

You will perform duties as required on sections, involved in the paperwork and help train and manage junior chefs and run the kitchen.

You will be responsible for the food preparation in all sections of the production kitchen if required to ensure timely production of food and develop skills, flair and finesse
